Philosophy

PWHF is a not for profit, non-governmental wildlife conservation organization with the primary emphasis on the larger wildlife species of Iran.  The Foundation recognizes the unique blends of culture, history and geographic diversity that exist in the country, and believes that a good and effective conservation program must take into account the needs of local people, government and fair and reasonable allocation of natural resources.  The objective is to create an ethical and sustainable use of resources within the parameters of common goals amongst the stakeholders and beneficiaries.
